Neuson Kramer and Wacker are on track for a successful merger, and will concentrate on supplying a full range of light and compact equipment branded as Wacker Neuson, with the exception of Weidemann and Kramer all-wheel loaders.
The company said the merger would work well because of the companies' similar positioning, complementary product ranges and good distribution, as well as a similar set of values.
However, it said it would be "exploring new opportunities", and both companies have recently launched new products. Among the highlights at Bauma were Wacker's nine-machine wheel loader range (1.8 to 5.7t) and an array of more than 20 attachments. It also launched a light balloon, which is easy to set up and take down.
