The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is reviewing construction's approach to sustainability and climate change.
The CIOB is asking its members and non-members for their thoughts on how sustainability and how the construction industry should meet the climate change agenda. The results of the CIOB's survey will be exclusively revealed in a future issue of Contract Journal.
Everyone who takes part in the questionnaire has the chance to win a digital camera.
The CIOB has already called for the Committe on Climate Change to include expert representatives from the construction industry. CIOB deputy chief executive Michael Brown said: "The government has stated that the construction, occupation and maintenance of buildings account for around 50% of the UK's total CO2 emissions, so it would seem sensible that the industry is well represented on any such committee on climate change."
