With the delivery of the first of three 6.5t Iveco Daily chassis equipped with a Mecbo pump, Bristol-based Wright Minimix is building a fleet of compact vehicle-mounted concrete pumps designed for small congested sites.
The Mecbo pump is driven by the Daily's 131kW engine via a PTO. It can deliver concrete at up to 40m3/hr to a height of 100m or over a distance of 250m.
"Access is becoming more critical in our industry and the Daily chassis cab combines the strength and payload potential of a truck, with the manoeuvrability of a van," said managing director Len Wright.
