Stent Foundations concerns for rig prove baseless

Fears that the UK’s first, and currently only, Junttan PM23LC fixed leader self erecting piling rig might prove to be too big for the type of work undertaken by owner Stent Foundations, have been proved baseless.

The 60t rig, which replaces 30-year old crane-mounted suspended leader rigs, has successfully completed a variety of different contracts including installing 872 precast concrete piles - 15m in length - on a warehouse development for St Modwen Properties, at an average rate of 40/day.
