Connaught to maintain 1,000 properties in Scotland

Connaught has won a contract with Cairn Housing Association to maintain almost 1,000 homes in Scotland.

The company will provide reactive maintenance and void service to around a third of Cairn's stock as part of the three-year deal, worth £270,000 a year.

Cairn, which looks after 2,800 dwellings throughout Scotland, will be using a single multi-trade contractor for the first time - it has previously relied on the services of several local contractors.

Martin Morrison, Connaught area director for Scotland said he was "delighted" to be working with the Cairn.

And he added that the contract would see Connaught using open book accounting from the day the project starts. "We will be utilising our unique Conntrol asset management software to efficiently manage the call handling, delivery processes and management reporting. This will add considerable value to the project, providing complete transparency within the partnership," he said.
