ISG has won two contracts worth a total of £40m in London and Leeds. The larger contract involves giving a total makeover to an eight-storey listed building in London's West End under a £25m deal.
The contractor is due to start work next month on redeveloping Stratton House in Mayfair for WEL Property Partnership.
All floors in the building will be stripped out and refurbished, M&E services replaced, a lightwell infilled to create a new core and on the eighth floor a penthouse apartment with roof terrace will be built. On the ground floor, a new reception area will be created.
Completion of the entire project is expected during spring 2009.
ISG's second contract was awarded under a framework agreement with Village Hotels and Leisure, where it has secured a £15m project for a hotel plus health and fitness club in south Leeds.
The scheme includes a four-storey hotel with 113 rooms, plus a two-storey leisure complex featuring a 25m swimming pool and gym.
A start on site is expected around the middle of this month, with completion scheduled for next spring.
