SED 2008 bookings up on last year


Bookings for SED 2008 are running well ahead of the comparable period t last year with almost 200 exhibitors already confirmed and reservations in the Pavilion up by 50%.

Next year will be the third SED at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby and will take place from 13th – 15th May. Two additional digging demonstration areas have been allocated and SED FM will be back on air.

Terex Construction has already booked into the Site Equipment Zone for 2008. Its marketing manager Adrian Hyde said SED was well-executed and praised the free parking and ease of entry to the show for customers.

Rod Leyland managing director of segregator buckets specialists Anross said SED 2007 was its most successful yet in terms of sales, with new customers collecting equipment as the show closed. He has already booked into the Site Clearance Zone for 2008.

Jeff Wright sales director of trailer manufacturer SHAWtrack Services said he met new and current clients last year SED and was one of the first exhibitors to book a stand in the next year’s Truck Zone.

At SED 2007 customers, existing and new, were plentiful, according to Alan Russon, managing director of Russon Access Platforms as he confirmed a repeat showing at SED 2008.
