Having experienced a 450% increase in volume and a 360% rise in turnover since 2003, Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe (HHIE) has opened its first national branch office in Europe.

The facility, which is in Fontenay sur Eure, France, is designed to forge closer links and improved efficiency with Hyundai's French dealers.

HHIE-France has set itself the target of selling more than 500 machines by the end of 2007, 675 in 2008 and 1,000 by 2010.

From the beginning of 2008, Hyundai will be able to offer new financing deals and in September it will introduce its new Dash-9 wheel loader range, which it said "looks very promising".
