Kingspan has positioned itself as a modern methods of construction specialist with the creation of its offsite division, offering both timber and steel-based systems.
The move follows the company's acquisition of Pace Timber Systems and Potton earlier this year, making it the largest timber system manufacturer in the UK. It has also acquired Thermomax, the UK's largest solar panel manufacturing, enabling it to supply all structural elements alongside renewable technology.
Commenting on the launch of Kingspan Off-Site managing director Gilbert McCarthy said: "The formation of the new Kingspan Off-Site brings together a specialist in offsite manufacture and modern methods of construction that has the expertise, knowledge and capacity to develop solutions that meet the needs of any size and type of project."
