New guidance for steel work

New guidance has been developed to improve information flow in steel construction projects.

Allocation of Design Responsibilities in Constructional Steelwork has been developed by the British Constructional Steelwork Association to encourage the timely exchange of information through the supply chain.

The guidance, which contains a set of checklists detailing the information required at various stages of a project, has been endorsed by the HSE and is designed to fit in with other industry work schedules.
