Volvo EC35C compact excavator hits the UK

The first Volvo EC35C compact excavator to be retailed in Great Britain has gone to E G Evans & Sons Ltd, of Talybont near Barmouth, North Wales.

The 3.5t mini, which previewed at last year’s SED, has Volvo’s latest four-cylinder/27kW diesel engine and retains a conventional design for enhanced stability along with minimal swing of the upgraded superstructure and new cab.

Leg and foot room in the FOPS 1, ROPS and TOPS cab was a crucial deciding factor in Evans’ buying decision. The machine was supplied by Griffith A’I Gwmni Cyf, a recent recruit to Volvo’s compact equipment dealer network.
