RSK has ramped-up its carbon management business with the acquisition of building envelope consultancy and testing company, Building Sciences.
Stuart Borland, managing director of Building Sciences - which offers consultancy and testing in relation to the building fabric performance of heat, air moisture and acoustics - said the acquisition by RSK would help the company develop and attract a wider client base.
It already serves major names such as British Land, Asda, HBG Construction and Bovis Lend Lease.
RSK group chairman Alan Ryder said: "Legislation and consumers are demanding greater efficiency in terms of building design and RSK and Building Sciences want to be at the forefront of making that a reality."
