Willmott Dixon wins best schools contractor award

Willmott Dixon has scooped the 'best schools contractor' award at the British Council for School Environments (BCSE) industry awards.

The award was for the firm’s work on Orchard School in Sandwell, West Midlands.

Ty Goddard, director of the BCSE, said Willmott Dixon had built “a sensitive and child-focused learning environment”. Judges praised Wilmott Dixon for its ability to engage stakeholders.

Runners up in the category were GF Tomlinson Building and J & E Regan, which were both highly commended by the judges.
