May Gurney bags £100m rail deal

May Gurney has coupled up to a rail deal potentially worth £100m.

The National Rail framework job covers replacement, refurbishment and maintenance in the London and North East regions.

The contract mainly features work at railway stations and to Network Rail's commercial and depot buildings.

Station tasks include buildings, platforms, footbridges, lighting, car parks and related infrastructure.

The deal is estimated to be worth around £20m a year and will initially run for two years, although there is the potential for a three-year extension.
