Crane collapse latest: Death toll moves to 7 as final bodies found

Rescue workers scouring the wreckage of a crane collpase in Manhattan's East Side in New York have uncovered two more bodies, bringing the official death toll to seven.

The final finds from the accident, in which 17 other people were injured, makes it one of the most serious single construction accidents the US city has ever seen.

Six of the dead were construction workers, while the seventh was a woman visiting a friend's apartment which was struck when the 19-storey tower crane collapsed.
