Building Schools for the Future 'Facebook' to be launched

Plans for a Building Schools for the Future “Facebook” were revealed this week at the launch of a new Building Schools for the Future (BSF) website.

Launching the website Partnerships for Schools chief executive Tim Byles said he wanted BSF clients, schools and contractors to actively engage with the website. "Ultimately I hope that our collaborative working areas will become a kind of Facebook for BSF, with stimulating and relevant online discussions.”

The new website aims to provide a one stop shop for the latest BSF information, which was previously provided intermittently via a Partnerships for Schools (PfS) website, a BSF website, and a BSF Knowledge Portal. The site is aimed at local authorities, schools and the private sector. The collaborative “Facebook” working area will be launched by the summer.
