Miller launches Twinlock quick hitch

By Colin Sowman

Coupler manufacturer Miller has introduced TwinLock, a fully-automatic quick hitch for machines from 3t to 70t aimed at end users and the independent market.

The device uses dual mechanical stops to prevent a bucket or attachment from becoming detached in the event of a hydraulic failure.

To attach the front pin, the operator has to ‘close’ the coupler allowing the mechanical stops to fall under their own weight, lifting the front latch and allowing the pin to engage.

Miller has extended the lower front jaw and hooked it upwards to prevent the bucket being accidentally dropped during coupling/uncoupling.

Miller is running a ‘new for old’ trade-in scheme that allows end users to purchase the TwinLock at a reduced price.
