Oxford-based Kingerlee has netted £15m worth of new deals in the area.

The firm, which has a turnover of around £40m, has held off rivals including Sol, Galliford Try and Leadbitter to build the £9.5m North Oxford Academy in Banbury for the United Learning Trust.

Work on site starts at the end of this month and the first phase of the job is programmed for completion in time for the 2008/09 academic year.

Kingerlee is also preferred contractor for a £5.5m redevelopment of student accommodation at Exeter College, Oxford.
