Sir Robert McAlpine starts work on Glasgow Evolution job

Demolition has started on a major office building in Glasgow to replace it with a £25m nine-storey office and retail development.

Named Evolution, the new development will be constructed by Sir Robert McAlpine on the site of the former Intercity House on Oswald Street near Glasgow Central station.

It is being developed by Buccleuch Property and jointly funded with Deutsche Postbank, reported The Scotsman.
