Borders-based house frame manufacturer Oregon Timber has predicted 2008 will be a “big test” despite booking a record annual turnover of £19.5m.
The 2007 figure was a 30% rise on the year before and came despite market pressures.
The company pointed to increased business with housebuilders Taylor Wimpey and Kier Homes and key drivers of the success, the Scotsman reported.
Its medium term goal is to build turnover to £45m and it hopes recently-won clients including Bellway Homes will help it meet targets.
