One of the companies alleged to have been involved in anti-competitive tendering practices by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has gone into administration, it was announced today.
No-one at Nottinghamshire-based Thomas Fish was available to comment on whether the OFT's release of its Statement of Objections last week had any bearing on its demise.
Administrator Mazars indicated that most of the company's 85 employees were likely to be made redundant. It said: "We were called in this morning to assess the position of the company to see if we could rescue it. We have two people who have expressed interest in the company and we will be seeing them today."
