The Highways Agency (HA) is to announce revised cost estimates for all its major road schemes by the end of spring following last year's Nichols review.
The review, published in March, found that although HA schemes were being delivered on time and to budget, once construction began, the HA was poor at estimating.
Tom Harris, parliamentary under secretary of state for transport, told the House of Commons: "The HA was in the final stages of completing revised cost estimates for its major roads projects." He added that the costings will be available on the Department for Transport's and the HA's websites in the next few weeks.
