A winner looks to be emerging for an £18m housing deal in Gloucester. Insiders say Leadbitter is most likely to home in on the St Oswalds Park Retirement Village.
This means lock-out for pitches from rivals Mansell, Galliford Try and Stratford-on-Avon firm Pettifer.
It is expected that a start on site will be made this summer, with completion due within two years.
The centrepiece of the job is the design and construction of 169 one- and two-bedroom apartments and bungalows.
