The Housing Corporation has ordered a housing association to hand over its land to another organisation following a statutory inquiry into 'mismanagement' in its affairs.
London-based Black Roof Community Housing Association (BRCHA) will have to transfer its land to ASRA Greater London Housing Association within the next four weeks, after the Corporation's board decided that the move would improve the management of the land.
Peter Marsh, Housing Corporation deputy chief executive said,“ We are aiming to now complete this transfer within four weeks. Whilst this is a relatively tight timetable we believe it is achievable if all parties show goodwill and co-operate to achieve an orderly transfer.”
