Ardmore wins £35m London waterfront deal

Ardmore Construction has nabbed a £35m mixed developemnt deal on London's waterfront.

The Greenwich Peninsula scheme will see the contractor delivering 295 flats plus retail units for housebuilder Bellway.

The apartments will be constructed within a block up to 19 storeys high and spanning 0.40 ha. Completion is expected within two years.

The site is situated on the riverfront on the east side of the Peninsula and forms part of the first phase of a £5bn masterplan being delivered by Greenwich Peninsula Regeneration, working with English Partnerships.

The full-blown scheme will include 10,000 homes, 350,000m2 of offices, 150 new shops and restaurants, plus open spaces totalling the size of London¹s Green Park.
