Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond has had to admit that his idea for paying for major projects, known as the Scottish Futures Trust, was simply a similar watered down policy of the public-private partnerships that is already in force.
Tory finance spokesman Derek Brownlee, posed the question: “You also have to ask why he has delayed projects by stopping PPP’s when all he intends to do is replace it with something similar.”
A document outlining the new policy was revealed however it was criticised for lacking any detail.
