A new architecture award is set to provide bus stops and dentist surgeries with the chance to be recognised as great buildings.

The World Architecture Festival is set to take place in Barcelona on the 22nd-24th October and will include 256 shortlisted projects which will be judged.

This event is set to pit local architects and their work against some of the biggest and most famous buildings in the world.

Entrants must present their work to a live audience and a jury led by Lord Norman Foster, reports the Times.
