Talking Heads singer to make musical building

Former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne is set to make a building in Manhattan, New York, into a massive musical instrument.

Byrne will atach devices to ceiling beams, plumbing and electrical conduits in the Great Hall of the Battery Maritime Building as part of a temporary installation called "Playing the Building".

Sound will be produced through vibration when the installation is opened on 31 May, the Guardian reported.
