Tiny Leonardo takes on access market

By Paul Howard

One of the smallest access machines on the market drew big crowds at SED on the Braviisol stand and highlighted the increasing popularity of low-level access.

The Leonardo self-propelled personnel lift has a working height of 4.9m but only measures 1.22m long by 0.76m wide. The machine can also be driven while raised and has a maximum travel speed of 50 metres per minute lowered and nine metres per minute raised. It also has gradeability of 40% weighs only 450kg.

“The obvious target is the M&E sector,” said joint managing director Andrew Fishburn. “It’s so much safer and offers such a productivity improvement compared to traditional methods.”
