Bobcat's 12m man platform ready

Bobcat's 12m T35120SL MP telehandler is now man-platform ready.

Bobcat has added its 3.5t/12m telehandler to the 14m (T40140) and 17m (T40170) models that can use its man-platform attachment.

The new 'man platform ready' T35120SL MP shares the larger models' electronic and joystick controls and an emergency control box at the rear of the machine.

It also has an additional electro-hydraulic pump to lower and retract the boom in case of engine failure. There is also a sensor that can detect whether or not a man platform is fitted.

Having detected a man platform, all safety functions are automatically activated, including an independent load indicator and an emergency control box in the man-platform basket. For optimum safety, the company offers a remote control system.

A self-levelling frame and stabilisers are standard and the new high-tensile steel boom can lift 3.2t to maximum height, and 1.2t at its 8.2m maximum reach.
