North Midland Construction profits on course

By Neil Gerrard

North Midland Construction has indicated that its profits are in line with expectations, with revenues up on the same time last year.

But it indicated that tougher economic conditions have cause some projects to be cancelled and others delayed.

In a trading statement to the City, it said that the bumpy conditions were mostly affecting its North Midland Building division which handles contracts in the commercial and industrial, hotels and leisure, prisons, and residential sectors.
