Worcester Warriors Rugby Club has awarded the management contract for a £7.4m redevelopment of its Sixways Stadium to asset management consultancy Currie & Brown.
The six-month project will see the old East stand and North East corner block at the Warriors' ground redeveloped to include offices and retail outlets as well as an extended 6,000-seater stand.
The stand, shop and hospitality facilities are scheduled for completion by September 2008 in time for the start of the new Guinness Premiership season, shortly followed by new offices.
Currie & Brown have previous worked on a new stand for Gloucester Rugby Club, just down the M5. The work will be handled by the firm's Bristol office.
This is the latest phase in a £23m redevelopment of the Warriors' stadium, which will eventually hold over 13,000 spectators.
How the new stand will look.
And how the completed complex will look from the air.
