Kier announces departure of head of residential division

Kier has lost the head of its housing division. The group announced this morning that Michael O’Farrell has quit the post. He headed up Kier Residential.

O’Farrell has also lost his place on Kier’s main board.

The change is “with immediate effect”.

A spokeswoman said that he has now left the company.

Roger Page, currently managing director of Bellwinch Homes, part of Kier Residential, steps up to the now vacant position as managing director of the residential operation.
