Bursaries offered to plasterers

Bursaries are now being offered for individual training and life-long learning in the plastering sector by the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers.

Applications for the bursary, offered on an annual basis, is open to people within plastering and associated companies (both operatives and supervisors), colleges (tutors and students), private training providers and associate members of the Livery.

Typical applications might be for travel expenses to support a course of learning abroad; fees for existing courses where no other support is available; wage subsidy to enable a student to pursue extra curricular skills, funding to a mentor to support achievement of advanced qualification, or costs towards enhanced disabled access to training.

The value of the bursaries will be £500. Greater sums may be awarded in individual cases if merited.
