Commercial development activity falls again

Activity in the commercial development sector fell again in May for the seventh month in a row.

An industry survey conducted by Savills reported that three times as many commercial developers saw a decline in activity as those registering a rise.

Savills' Total Commercial Development Activity Index showed a net balance of minus 19.7% - the second lowest score on record after April, which saw a net balance of minus 20.8%.
