Housebuilder crisis: No more housebuilders in FTSE 100

There are now no housebuilders in the FTSE 100 after Persimmon was ejected from the rankings today.

Persimmon is now in the FTSE 250, after its market value dropped from £4bn to £937.7m in a year.

Taylor Wimpey and Barratt, two other major housebuilders which have seen a big drop in their values had already dropped out of the ranking.
