Scottish civil engineering firm I&H Brown has won the £11.75m contract for infrastructure work for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The Perth-based firm will carry out infrastructure, remedial and enabling works for the national indoor sports arena and velodrome project in Glasgow’s east end.
The Scotsman reported the project will stabilise and clear the site ready for redevelopment of the area.
It is the company’s largest single contract to date.
