Fitzpatrick Contractors has driven away with the contract to build and maintain the highways within Olympic Park.
The firm will deliver all the internal roads, entrance plazas and footpaths at the site over three years.
The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) said the company offered a GIS linked database for Olympic traffic and approach roads, rapid mobilisation and a commitment to sustainability.
ODA chairman John Armitt said: “Their commitment to increasing local employment is evident from the fact that 30% of their workforce are from neighbouring boroughs.”
Fitzpatrick has appointed Mott MacDonald as its key supply chain partner.
