Construction worker dies on North Lincolnshire site

A construction worker has died at a site in north Lincolnshire.

The accident happened yesterday afternoon on a site close to a bridge on the River Ancholme, near Brigg.

Humberside Police was called to the scene by an ambulance crew attending the scene. The man was then airlifted to Scunthorpe General Hospital with serious injuries but later died.

Humberside Police has not released any details on the man, the type of work he was carrying out or the firm he worked for.

The Health & Safety Executive would only tell CJ that it was investigating the incident.
