West Yorkshire contractor Holroyd Group has gone into administration.

The Wetherby-based firm, which employs 100 people, consists of three divisions: Holroyd Construction & Holroyd Business Services; Holroyd Property & Development; and Northern Fencing Contractors.

The firm has a turnover of around £16.5m. In 2006 Holroyd Construction's turnover was at nearly £25m when it made a pre-tax loss of £313,000.

Administrator PricewaterhouseCoopers said that it hoped the business could be sold as a going concern.
