Plant theft to appear on special TV episode of 'Police Camera Action'

Plant theft is coming to television with a special episode of Police Camera Action next Monday (14 July) at 9pm on ITV1.

The programme features a countdown of the top ten ultimate car crimes and the worst criminal driving ever seen on Police Camera Action.

In a section on latest tactics the police use to keep one step ahead of the criminals, there is a segment on organised plant theft and Cesar registration.

This features an interview with Detective Constable Ian Elliott of the Metropolitan Police Stolen Vehicle Unit.

It should be of particular interest to anyone involved in construction or agriculture and in particular plant owners, contractors, machine operators, local authorities and utility companies.
