Willmott Dixon has clinched three new deals worth £119m under the Building Schools for the Future Academies framework, ousting Balfour Beatty as the framework frontrunner.
The firm has seen off Laing O’Rourke to clinch the £90m Middlesbrough BSF scheme and beaten Skanska to the £34m Brent Academy scheme. It is also sole bidder on the £75m Oxford Academy scheme.
This brings the total value of Willmott Dixon’s workload on the framework to £257m, putting it well in the lead.
In second place is Balfour Beatty with three Academy deals worth £155m in Southwark, Sunderland and Darlington.
Carillion is in third place with three wins worth £98m. Kier sits in fourth place, beating Balfour Beatty to the £20m Mansfield Academy scheme. It also has the £35m Milton Keynes Academy scheme.
Lagging behind in joint fifth place are Laing O’Rourke and Skanska. Both firms have yet to win a contract under the framework.
