The number of construction workers on the £1.6bn Westfield London project is set to double to 5,000 by the end of the month as work on the site hits its peak.
There are now 100 days to go until the opening day of 150,000m2 Shepherd's Bush shopping centre.
The Evening Standard reported that developer Westfield has managed to let 92% of the space in the centre, despite the current economic downturn.
Fit-out workers are already on site fitting out the eight biggest stores in the centre for Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Next, Debenhams, House of Fraser, Boot, New Look and Apple.
