Moxy has introduced Series lll versions of its MT26 and MT31 ADTs, with increased payloads and oil-immersed disc brakes all round.
Heaped capacity of the MT26-lll is now 15m3 with a 24.1t payload - 600kg more than its predecessor. The MT31-lll gains 500kg of payload - to 28.5t, in an 18m3 body that, like the MT26, does not need a tailgate.
The sloping body is designed for exhaust heating and is lifted in 11 seconds by two single-stage, double-acting cylinders. Down-time is 10 seconds.
Both machines are powered by a Scania Stage 3 compliant DC-9 engine producing 255kW in the MT31 and de-rated to 228kW in the MT26. A ZF 6WG 260 six forward/three reverse automatic transmission gives a maximum 51km/h speed in both models.
