Poole takes post at Highways Agency

The Highways Agency (HA) is to appoint David Poole as its new procurement director, CJ has learned.

Poole, formerly supply chain director at GE Aviation Systems, will be based in Birmingham and starts on 1 September. It is understood he has already signed a contract to join the HA, although his position has not been formally announced.

He will report to Ginny Clarke, the HA's chief highways engineer.
