ISG wins £26m Cheshire college contract

ISG has won a £26m contract to redevelop Sir John Deane’s College in Northwich, Cheshire.

The interior services specialist will demolish several buildings across the historic site before constructing three new buildings linked with a glazed walkway.

The largest building is to be cantilevered three-storey structure fearing a full-height glazed atrium, green roof and copper rain screen cladding.

The second phase of construction will see existing 18th century buildings renovated and four new buildings constructed.

Work is to commence next month with completion expected summer 2011.
