Miller has emerged as preferred bidder for a £30m education-sector deal in South Yorkshire, beating off Kier, HBG and Shepherd.
Work on the Barnsley College scheme is due to begin early next year and take about 18 months to complete.
The job involves constructing a five-storey main college building, plus two basement-levels, giving an internal floor area of 17,500m2.
Demolition tasks are also part of the deal, along with external works.
