Hyundai has opened a central UK branch office at Bracknell, Berkshire, to serve its network of construction equipment and lift-truck dealers.
The office will be an administration centre and contact point for Hyundai's UK construction equipment and materials handling business. It is in addition to the import-stocking facility opened last year at Tilbury Docks to provide ex-stock availability for some of the most popular models.
Hyundai said its dealer network is practically complete, with 12 main dealers for construction and four for fork lifts.
Hyundai executive vice president of worldwide construction equipment division, EY Lee, said: "From being a total newcomer to the European market in 1992, Hyundai has become recognised as a major player."
