McLaren wins £22m Stoke distribution centre job

McLaren Construction has won a deal for a new £22m distribution centre in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Blue Planet project at Chatterley Valley will use the latest green technology - for instance, the centre's roof will filter rainwater run-off into collection ponds.

According to McLaren, "there's a string of tenants queing up" for the centre. Site work for client Gazeley will start this week.
