HBG and Edmund Nuttall rebrand as Bam

Major contractor HBG is changing its name to Bam Construct UK.

To be formally announced in October, the change signals an effort by HBG’s parent company Royal Bam Group to raise its UK profile by rebranding its businesses.

As part of the changes, civil engineering firm Edmund Nuttall will change its name to Bam Nuttall.

HBG’s five divisions will also be rebranded into Bam Construction, Bam Design, Bam Properties, Bam Plant and Bam FM.

The Royal Bam Group, based in the Netherlands, has an annual turnover of £7bn, while HBG enjoys a £1bn turnover.

It employs 30,000 staff across the world in a range of divisions including construction, civil engineering and mechanical and electrical contracting.
